Danish footballer Nicklas Bendtner today signed two-year contract with the English second division side Nottingham Forest, reports BBC (BBC).
The former Arsenal, Birmingham and Sunderland striker came to Nottingham Forest as a free agent, because he terminated his contract with Wolfsburg in April. Bendtner had not played football for breach of club discipline since 6 February, both for Wolfsburg, as well as for the national team of Denmark.
He played 47 matches for Wolfsburg and scored nine goals.
Nottingham Forest is 7th in Football League Championship after fifth round with nine points, four behind leaders Huddersfield.
