Traditional research by Gazzeta de la sport revealed how much are salaries of Serie A players and of course, it immediately became topic of the day in Italy. To pay players in Serie A this season, owners will allocate about one billion euros! By far the richest club is Juventus and the poorest is newcomer Crotone.
Juventus dominance of Italian football comes as a result of the financial dominance by giant’s of Turin. Juventus pays annual salary for first team staggering 145 million euro. This is almost twice more than what his first rival Napoli pays. Judging by the salaries of players, Inter is in second place, Roma in the third, Milan in fourth. All praise deserves Napoli, team with a fairly small budget which recorded better results than Rome and Milan struggling giants.

Among top 15 highest-paid players are eight from Juventus. The most expensive player in the history of Italian football Gonzalo Higuain is currently the highest paid soccer player in Italy. Pipita from Juventus earns 7.5 million euros per season (net earnings).
And if Juventus large investments have good returns, it is certainly not the case in Roma. Daniele De Rossi has not been player he once was for a long time, but he is second on the list of the highest paid players in Serie A with 6.5 million euros a year. Among the most overrated football players in Serie A is Edin Džeko in the fourth position with 4 million euros per year. Bosnian really does not deserve a higher salary than Marek Hamšík, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini … Not even close.
